100% natural granular fertilizer made from chicken manure, ground bones and sulphate of potash. This fertilizer is ideal for the vegetable garden and is also suitable for small fruits such as strawberries and raspberries. It is excellent for growing tomatoes because it contains calcium. Quebec product Use: - Tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers: Spread 135 g (3/4 cup) per m² or 36 g (3 tbsp.) per plant 15 cm from the trunk - Onions, lettuce, carrots and beans: Spread 60 g (1/3 cup) per m² 5 cm from the trunk - Small fruits: Spread 60 g (1/3 cup) per plant 15 -20 cm from the trunk - Perennials and annuals: Spread 120 g (2/3 cup) per m² on the soil surface. Apply at the start of the season and repeat every 4 to 6 weeks until harvest Prevention of tomato blossom end rot Blossom end rot is caused by calcium deficiency and improper watering, producing a black, leathery spot on the underside of tomatoes. Laying hen manure is naturally rich in calcium, which helps prevent the onset of blossom-end rot.
