It has tan-yellow skin, orange fleshy pulp with a compartment of seeds in the blossom end. A single vine can produce 10 to 20 squashes. It therefore requires a lot of space. Plant each seedling in a mound of soil to keep the seeds and roots warmer. Growing method: - Warning: sow directly in the garden when there is no longer any risk of frost and the soil is warm. - Sow: 2 to 3 seeds per hole. - Sow indoors during the first two weeks of May. - Fertile soil and adequate humidity are necessary for its cultivation. - The hardened epidermis allows it to be preserved for several months.
