The majesty palm embellishes our interiors and our terraces with its undeniable tropical look. To know how to enjoy your beauty, however, you must be aware of its needs. It needs a good balance between light, humidity and fertilization to ensure good and beautiful growth. It will need lots of light, as much as possible. Mature plants can tolerate direct sunlight, but young plants cannot tolerate midday sun. The more it is exposed to light, the more we must ensure that the soil remains moist, otherwise the leaves will burn. In nature, it grows on the banks of watercourses; it likes to have uniformly moist, but not soggy, soil. It will appreciate fresh, acidic soil, with a pH of 5. Potting soil for acidophilic plants will suit it. This palm does not need much fertilization. It can be fed once or twice throughout the growing season, and not at all during the winter.
