Pothos 'Neon'

Epipremnum aureum 'Neon', more commonly known as Pothos 'Neon', is a climbing houseplant notable for its vibrant foliage. Its heart-shaped leaves display an intense chartreuse green hue, almost fluorescent, which brings a touch of light and cheerfulness to any space.

Main Features:

• Foliage: The young leaves are a pale yellow-green that transforms into a bright chartreuse green at maturity. They are waxy and heart-shaped.
• Growth: A vigorous climbing plant, the Pothos 'Neon' can reach up to 2 to 3 meters long (6 to 10 feet) indoors, with a width of about 30 to 60 cm (12 to 24 inches) depending on the support and size. Its stems easily cling to a support thanks to its aerial roots or cascade elegantly if you leave it hanging.
• Care: It is a very easy-going plant, ideal for beginners. It tolerates low light and occasional missed waterings.

Care Tips:

• Light: Prefers bright indirect light for optimal growth and vibrant colour. Tolerates low light, but growth may be slower and colour less intense. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
• Watering: Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Generally, water every 1 to 2 weeks in summer and less frequently in winter. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
• Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix for houseplants. A mix of peat moss, perlite, and compost is ideal.
• Fertilizing: Fertilize once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce fertilization in fall and winter.
