A small root variety, perfect for baby carrots, preserves or pickling. Deep orange root with smooth skin. Great taste. Bright orange, these sublime heirloom carrots grow 3-4 inches long. Sweet, crisp and with a tender core. Great planted out in the garden, but their small size makes them ideal for container-growing. Good for pickling, perfect for eating fresh. This heirloom variety produces bright orange carrots 7 to 10 cm long, sweet and crunchy, with a tender center. It grows very well in the ground, but its small size makes it perfect for growing in containers. Delicious raw carrots, but also very good for canning and marinades. Growing method: - Water the soil well before sowing. - Keep the top layer of soil moist during the relatively long germination period (14-21 days). - For a continuous harvest, repeat every 3 weeks until the end of July. -Pick before the root reaches 5cm in diameter.
