Nicknamed the queen of indoor plants, the African Violet has special needs in order to provide attractive, long flowering. Lighting is crucial, favoring windows facing east or west in summer, and south in winter, always avoiding intense sunlight. Adapted to artificial lighting, it thrives under LED or fluorescent neon light, lit 14 to 16 hours a day. Be careful not to water it with cold water. It is also recommended to use a saucer for watering it, to prevent its foliage from getting wet. Hydration is essential; soaking or watering should be followed by emptying the saucer after an hour to avoid excess water.
