One of the most popular mint because its leaves have a fruity, mild taste and great aroma. Mint is used in many culinary recipies. The plants are overrunning with stems that spread rapidly and widely. Flowers are purple at maturity. Growing method: - Indoors: sow 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost with a heat mat to accelerate germination (10 to 16 days). - Outdoors: sow in the garden at the end of spring after the last frost. - Caution: mint requires more humid soil than other herbs and can be invasive.
