Peperomia are plants with a small root system, they remain compact. Peperomia watermelon grows to 20-30 cm, blooming with greenish-white spikes. Easy to maintain, it prefers medium light without direct sun. Drought tolerant, but prefers ambient humidity. Allow the soil to dry before watering; avoid excess watering to avoid root rot. The fleshy, round leaves with a green/gray striped pattern are reminiscent of watermelon skin, accented by red petioles. A unique and elegant plant.
