The stromanthe is not too demanding a plant. It adds a colorful touch, with its beautiful long straight leaves, then rounded to finish on a slight point. Its variegated tricolor leaves with an erect habit pointing in almost all directions give it a unique look. It is a cousin of the calatheas, but still less demanding, it also requires a slightly moist soil, it would like a bed of clay balls, but still tolerates the ambient humidity of our homes well, and a light not too intense, keep away from the sun's rays, which would burn its pretty leaves.
