W.H. Perron SKU:69-9510-701

Format

  • Untreated seeds
  • Sowing date: March and June
  • Sowing depth: 3 mm

Very small, dark green, elongated, oval leaves. Small flowers are from light purple to lilac. Multiple culinary and medicinal uses. Superior yield if cultivated on slanted, poor, rocky areas that are exposed to the sun. Tolerates dryness. Culture - Sow indoors in March and April OR sow in the garden from mid-May to June. - Thyme prefers poor soil (too rich soil causes too rapid growth, a weak plant and a diminished taste). - Do not harvest the foliage after mid-August to allow the branches to harden off well for the winter. - Zone 3.
