The Rose Glow lives up to its name. Its magnificent foliage, carried on pretty thorny branches, impresses. The leaves are burgundy red in color, then the new ones growing are marbled with pink, giving a wonderful contrast to the rest of the shrub. It also produces discreet yellow flowers, which give way to small red fruits, which birds love. It adapts well to poor soils, tolerant of drought better than soggy soils.
