For the okra amateur. Best adapted to our northern climate, Elisa produces fruits 9-15 cm in length, with very few seeds, and will not become fibrous. Elisa is early and more productive than other okra varieties. Growing method: - Soak seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours before sowing. - 4 to 5 weeks before the last frost, sow 3 seeds indoors in a peat pot. - Use a heating mat to accelerate germination (27 to 30°C). - Thin out each pot and transplant it into the garden 30 to 45 cm apart when the soil is warm. - Harvest every 3 days when the pods are 7 cm long, otherwise they will become tough.
