The false date palm, a small palm, has a trunk similar to a pineapple with delicate dark green fronds and small white scales. Avoid access to children due to the spiny bases of the leaves. Prefers adequate light with direct sunlight, except intense summer afternoon sun. Water abundantly, especially when young, and allow the soil to dry out more in winter. Easy to maintain, it adorns terraces and balconies in summer. Can reach a height of 90cm.
