Philodendrons are undergrowth plants, which like good humidity, climbing plants which adapt very well to their environment. They like a bright place, but not direct sunlight, which burns their leaves. The Florida Ghost philodendron and its oblong, fairly long lobed leaves, as well as its medium green, creamy-white, sometimes whiter than green colors, give it a charm of his own. Its new leaves appear white, turn cream and then turn increasingly dark green as they mature. It is slow growing, and it may take around ten years before it reaches its mature size. As it likes good light, but not sun, a north window will suit it perfectly.
