Cyclamen are plants that love freshness. It is called florists' cyclamen, because it has been adapted, among other things, to better tolerate the heat of our homes. It will like a maximum of 20 degrees, but will prefer a temperature between 13 and 15 degrees. If your home is hot, give it a cool, frost-free place at night, such as a barely heated garage. It will then be able to better tolerate the heat of the day.

It likes good lighting, even with direct sun. In winter, placed near a south-facing window, it will have enough light and perhaps even a little coolness in winter. In summer, an east or north orientation would be beneficial, as it is less hot than the south, or in the garden in the shade in a cool place.

To be sure not to rot the tuber, it is better to soak it to water it.

Unlike other houseplants, cyclamen is fertilized from fall to spring.
