• Flowering and stems: The plant produces small umbels of white to pinkish flowers if allowed to go to seed, but stems and bulbs are generally harvested before full bloom to maintain maximum tenderness.

Allow bulbs to dry in the sun for a few days before storage, then keep your best specimens to replant in July.
