The 'Trollhaugen' grape is distinguished by its large, sweet and juicy dark blue fruits, offering a sweet flavor with a floral scent. Although not without glitches, they are tiny and not very disturbing. Harvested in abundance in mid-September, these grapes are ideal for fresh consumption or for making juice. With exceptional vigor, the 'Trollhaugen' vine is resistant to diseases and the rigors of winter, generally not requiring protection. The variety, created by Elmer Swenson, presents an early maturity, allowing its delicious fruits to be enjoyed from the beginning of August until the first frosts. Self-pollinating, this plant does not require a partner for abundant fruiting.
