The ZZ plant is distinguished by its arched petioles, giving a flared shape. Its leaves, so shiny, give the impression of leather or plastic. The new leaves, initially soft green, provide a unique contrast to the rest of the dark green, almost black leaves. Easy to maintain, it requires little water thanks to its reserves in the bulb and stems. Water only when the soil is completely dry to avoid excess. Prefers moderate light without direct sun, but tolerates lower lighting.
