Tillandsia are epiphytes, that is to say they do not grow in the ground, so they do not need a pot or potting soil. You can simply place it on a shelf, or put it in a terrarium, or on a wooden board or a tree branch with moss, where its roots can possibly hold on. You can tie them with a thread at the start.
- Growth: They have very small roots, since they are only used to cling and not to seek nutrients, they are under the rosette of leaves.
- Light: They like good light, even intense, but without direct sunlight. They can be placed in a room with windows located to the south or west, without being close to the window to avoid the sun.
- Hardiness: They can even be placed outside during the summer, in the shade, since they also like good ventilation.
- Watering: To water it, you can bathe it, soak it in lukewarm water, approximately every two weeks, and spray it every week.
