Characteristics

• Foliage: Attractive glossy green leaves, heart-shaped and succulent, which remain green in colour throughout the year. The foliage is evergreen but the plant is grown as an annual in Quebec.
• Flowering: Produces abundant clusters of delicate semi-double flowers. The flowers are bicolour: they are gold with white overtones and cherry red edges. They appear from mid-spring to mid-fall. Flowering is profuse and continuous throughout the season.
• Light Requirements: Tolerates part sun to full shade. Ideal for partially shaded to shaded locations.
• Habit: Mounded and upright habit. Forms compact, mounded foliage.
• Growth: Its growth is vigorous. Reaches an average height of 30 cm (12 inches) to 45 cm (18 inches) and an average spread of 20 cm (8 inches) to 30 cm (12 inches).
• Humidity: Requires average water needs. Tolerates heat and rain.
• Soil: Prefers rich, well-draining soil.
