This spectacular variety unfurls a profusion of semi-double blooms in shades of gold, white, and cherry red, creating a striking carnival of colours. Ideal in containers, hanging baskets, or shaded garden beds, it promises continuous and dazzling flowering, both indoors and outdoors.
Characteristics
- Foliage: Attractive glossy green leaves, heart-shaped and succulent, which remain green in colour throughout the year. The foliage is evergreen but the plant is grown as an annual in Quebec.
- Flowering: Produces abundant clusters of delicate semi-double flowers. The flowers are bicolour: they are gold with white overtones and cherry red edges. They appear from mid-spring to mid-fall. Flowering is profuse and continuous throughout the season.
- Light Requirements: Tolerates part sun to full shade. Ideal for partially shaded to shaded locations.
- Habit: Mounded and upright habit. Forms compact, mounded foliage.
- Growth: Its growth is vigorous. Reaches an average height of 30 cm (12 inches) to 45 cm (18 inches) and an average spread of 20 cm (8 inches) to 30 cm (12 inches).
- Humidity: Requires average water needs. Tolerates heat and rain.
- Soil: Prefers rich, well-draining soil.
- Temperature: Not hardy and does not tolerate cold. Demonstrates great tolerance to heat and rain.
- Watering: Water regularly, especially in hot months, but do not let the soil get soggy.
- Resistances: Resistant to deer and rabbits.
Usage
- Types of Use: Excellent as an outdoor shade plant in hanging baskets and in garden beds or containers. Can also be grown as an indoor plant. Often used as a "filler" plant in container compositions.

Maintenance
