The English type cucumber is known for its long, cylindrical fruits (30 to 40cm long) with thin, green skin and white flesh, crunchy to taste, tasty, without bitterness and easy to digest. This type of cucumbers only produces female flowers, and should therefore be grown away from other types to avoid the formation of distorted fruits due to open pollination.
