Festuca glauca 'Elijah Blue' is a dwarf ornamental grass with fine silvery-blue leaves. Its compact, rounded habit makes it a wonderful option for gardens. The golden inflorescences that emerge from June to July add a pop of color to its evergreen foliage. This variety of blue fescue is particularly prized for its dense and bushy appearance. Ideal as a ground cover. Preferring sandy, dry soils, this grass can be pruned early in spring to maintain its shape. Division every three or four years is recommended to promote its vitality.
