Watermelon Sugar coneflowers offer large, double flowers, 4½" in diameter, with overlapping petals. Their compact size makes them an ideal addition to small spaces. Sturdy stems support abundant, magenta-pink flowers that mature to medium pink. The central cone is also pink in color, giving it a unique appearance and contrasting with the dark green foliage. These coneflowers thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Additionally, they attract bees, birds, and butterflies. Letting the flowers fade in the fall, the cone seeds feed birds and provide winter appeal. Resistant to white-tailed deer.
