Spanish turf is a ground cover plant found in nature on the edge of sea cliffs. It can reach 20 cm high and when in flower, it produces pretty pink or white pompoms, on dark bluish green leaves. It grows in clumps, looking like little cushions. It strongly resembles grass, until its superb flowers appear in April to July. It will grow very well in the sun, and is very resistant to wind, drought and low temperatures. It is a very docile plant that only needs sun.
