Very adaptable variety with great flavor and improved tender stems, with harvest two weeks earlier than most varieties. It is excellent for shorter seasons and home gardeners. Eaten raw or cooked as a stew. Self-bleaching. Companion plants are tomatoes, spinach, onions, beans, cabbage, sage, thyme, basil. Doesn't like lettuce or parsley.
