Official Contest Rules – "PLANT, SCAN, WIN"

The contest is organized in collaboration with Pépinière Trussart to promote Bloomin' Easy® products. It is open exclusively to residents of Quebec. This contest is intended for both current and new customers of participating Botanix garden centres. Participants must be of legal age at the time of entry. Entering the contest implies full acceptance of these official rules.

1. Contest Promoter

The contest promoter is Botanix Inc., with its head office located at 5350 Jean-XXIII Boulevard, Trois-Rivières, Quebec, in collaboration with Pépinière Trussart and Bloomin' Easy®.

2. Eligibility

Employees of Botanix garden centres and Pépinière Trussart, as well as members of their immediate family, are not eligible to participate. For the purpose of this contest, "immediate family members" includes the mother, father, brothers, sisters, daughters, sons, partner, or spouse (regardless of their place of residence).

The promoter reserves the right, at any time, to request proof of identity or eligibility. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification.

3. Contest Period

The registration period begins on May 7, 2026, at 12:00 AM (midnight) Eastern Time (ET) and ends on May 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM (ET).

4. How to Enter

Purchase of an eligible plant is required to participate in the contest.

  1. The Purchase: The participant must purchase at least one eligible plant from the following varieties: Weigela x 'Electric Love', Spiraea japonica 'Poprocks Petite', Hydrangea paniculata 'Candelabra', or Thuja occidentalis 'Private Jet'.
  2. The Form: The participant must complete the entry form available online at www.botanix.com or by scanning the QR code found on promotional posters in-store.
  3. The Validation: To earn one (1) entry for a chance to win, the participant must:
    • Upload a photo or PDF file of their sales receipt (Note: One entry per receipt, regardless of the number of eligible plants purchased on that receipt);
    • Check the box to approve the contest rules;
    • Subscribe to the Botanix newsletter.

Limit: There is a limit of one (1) entry per person and per email address for the duration of the contest.

5. Validity of Proof of Purchase (Receipt)

  • Origin: The receipt must come exclusively from a participating Botanix garden centre.
  • Legibility: The photo or PDF must be clear. The store name, date, and description of the eligible product must be perfectly visible.
  • Date Compliance: The transaction must have occurred between May 7, 2026, and May 20, 2026.
  • Exclusivity: Each receipt can only be used once. The purchase of multiple qualifying plants on a single transaction entitles the participant to only one (1) entry.

6. Prizes

Two (2) grand prizes valued at $489.95 each are available to be won. Each set includes:

  • 6 'Private Jet' Cedars (125 cm format);
  • 3 bags of BOTANIX 3-in-1 Planting Soil (30 L);
  • 1 bag of BOTANIX Trees & Shrubs Fertilizer 15-5-15 (10 kg);
  • 1 container of Myke Trees & Shrubs growth enhancer.

7. Selection and Contacting Winners

Winners will be determined by a random draw on May 21, 2026, at the Botanix head office.

  • Communication: Selected winners will be contacted by phone or email within ten (10) business days following the draw. If a selected person cannot be reached within seven (7) days of the first contact attempt, they will be disqualified.
  • Claiming the Prize: To be declared a winner, the selected participant must provide a valid photo ID and appear in person at the Botanix garden centre of their choice for the official prize presentation.

8. Personal Information

By entering, the participant grants the promoter the right to use their information for contest administration and newsletter subscription purposes. They also authorize Botanix, Pépinière Trussart, and the Bloomin' Easy® team to use their name and photo for contest-related advertising purposes without further compensation.

9. Termination

Subject to the jurisdiction of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, the promoter reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest in the event of fraud or major technical issues.
